I have a new home at Strategic Data Systems

What a long strange road it’s been.  Over the past 5 years, I travelled the world and met many, many incredible people.  I was fortunate to run and work with an awesome team of Evangelists and helped build products for software engineers to write better unit tests and be more productive developing software with Visual Studio. I helped architect solutions for major companies in the US and abroad.  While these have been incredible experiences, a couple of items kept coming back to me.  My children were growing up without me, and I really missed spending my days with all of the wicked smart people here in the heartland.

With that in mind, I’m extremely proud to announce that starting today (after much prayer, soul searching, and family discussions), I have joined Strategic Data Systems (http://www.sds-consulting.com) as a Principal Consultant/Architect.  I’ve known the great people at Strategic Data Systems (SDS) for a long time, and have had the pleasure to interact with them on a regular basis through the Cincinnati .NET User Group (http://www.cinnug.org), the Cincinnati Day of Agile (http://www.dayofagile.org), Southwest Ohio Give Camp, and many other community and philanthropic endeavors.  I have held them in high regard for many years, and am honored and humbled to be able to join such an awesome team.

My oldest son just completed his role as the Tin Man in his schools production of the Wizard of Oz, and it’s true.  There’s no place like home!
